Process valves
Ramén Valves partner with you to choose the correct valve for your process application. We are specialized in handling harsh applications that requires special alloys and titanium. We manufacture ball valves, check valves, butterfly valves, vacuum valves, gate valves and globe valves in a unique variety of materials, ranging from 316L to Hastelloy C-276 and Inconel.

Ball valves
Ball Valves are one of the most used fluid shutoff valves. There are many advantages of using ball valves, to name a few it has a quick quarter turn on/off operation, it is smaller in size than most valves and it has a tight sealing with low torque. Ramén Valves produce its own line of Engelsberg ball valves in Fagersta, Sweden. We also distribute ball valves from the Danish manufacturer Uni-Valve.

Check valves
Check valves, also called one-way valves, are designed to stop backflow (reverse flow). Consequently, they protect compressors and pumps from damage. We manufacture two styles of check valves; swing type check valve and globe style check valves in Y-type design. Ranging in size from DN8-600. Our Engelsberg check valves are all made in Fagersta, Sweden.

Gate valves
Gate valves, also known as sluice valves, are great for tight shut-off of liquids. The Engelsberg gate valves are particularly suitable for fibre suspensions or other processes containing a considerable amount or solid particles. The multi-turn opening and closing reduces the risk of fluid hammering in the system.
-
Butterfly valves
A butterfly valve is a quarter-turn rotational motion valve, used to stop, regulate, and start flow. Butterfly valves are beneficial when you need a compact design with quick operation that requires less time to open or close. Our Engelsberg butterfly valves are made in Sweden for shut-off or simple regulation of corrosive gases and liquids. They are available in a wide range of high alloys and titanium.

Vacuum relief valves
Process equipment, pipelines and atmospheric storage tanks must be protected against being subjected to an internal vacuum (i.e., pressures below 0 kPag) that is lower than the equipment can withstand. In such cases, the Engelsberg vacuum relief valves (also called vacuum vent valves) are installed and set to open at a predetermined vacuum set pressure limit. This is to admit atmospheric air into the process equipment, pipeline or atmospheric storage tank, to control the amount of vacuum. These Engelsberg valves are spring operated, with metal to metal seat.
-
Globe valves
A Globe valves is a linear motion valve that is primarily designed to stop, start and regulate flow. Conventional Globe valves may also be used for isolation and throttling services. One of the advantages with globe valves is that they have great shutoff capabilities. Globe valves are often found in applications for cooling water systems, fuel oil systems and turbine seals and drains. Our Engelsberg globe valves can be supplied in a wide range of high alloys. For cryogenic applications we offer a special design with extended stem.

Safety valves
A safety valve is a valve which automatically actuates, without the assistance of any energy other than that of the fluid concerned, discharges a quantity of the fluid so as to prevent a predetermined safe pressure being exceeded, and which is designed to reclose and prevent further flow of fluid after normal pressure conditions of service have been restored. Ramén Valves supply safety valves from the German brand Herose.
